Could you PLEASE answer the question I've already askled TWICE:
Does AVG deliberately crash programs it (sometimes mistakenly) think is infected?
Don't ignore the question…
Hello Owen,
Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
We have sent you the email instructions to send us the log files.
Please check for the email on spam and junk folders if it is not present in the inbox.
Thank you.
I've just spent about 20 hours trying to debug my program on Windows 10 and found out that the problem is AVG.
When AVG is active the program crashes. When AVG is disactived the program does not crash. I've tested the program going back more than 2 years, same problem.
A colleague has a different program which crashes with AVG too. The problem seems to be in the COM32 DLL. Looks like AVG messes up this standard Windows DLL.
Do you knowof the problem?
If so when will it be fixed?
Hello Owen,
Thank you for contacting us. We regret to hear about the inconvenience caused. As a temporary solution, you could try adding your program to AVG's exceptions list as described in this article http://avgclick.me/AddException .
If you are the developer of the program, please visit this webpage http://www.avg.com/ww-en/whitelist to add your program to AVG white list. Thank you.

Hello Owen,
Please accept our genuine apology for the inconvenience caused. AVG would not deliberately block or debug the programs unless it detects that the program isn't from a trusted source. We would suggest you to add the program to the exception list and provide us with the sample so that our developers could analyze the issue for you.
Thank you.
STOP IGNORING THE QUESTION! DO YOU UNDERSTAND THE QUESTION? I'M BEGINNING TO DOUBT IT. IS THIS IGNORANCE OR IN BAD FAITH?
Does AVG deliberately crash programs it (sometimes mistakenly) thinks is infected?
Thank God there's good alternatives to AVG.
Owen, as we explained earlier we need to analyze the files that is detected as a threat.
So if you provide the sample to us we can proceed with it and fix it the future update.

Actually, thinking about this, it is going to make a wonderful blog post…
You sound like a lying politician. Please reply to the question, is it so hard?
Does AVG deliberately crash programs it (sometimes mistakenly) thinks is infected?
You say "temporary solution". Does that mean you know there is a bug and that you are fixing it? Be honest!
Thanks for the whitelist tip, but does that mean the AVG deliberately crashes programs it (sometimes mistakenly) think is infected?
