It still does it when I open the pdf file.
I do not see a check box to turn it off anywhere.

I do not see a check box to turn it off anywhere.
When you click on "Program deactivator" you will have an option in that "Action when program are re-enabled by starting them" below this you will have a check box followed by "Disable again when automatically closed". If you uncheck this check box your Program Deactivator will get turned off.
