Program hangs up up on defrag funtion

The  Maintenance function on AVG tune up always hangs on the defrag component. Circle goes round and round .nothing happens. Windows 7 shows the disc is less than 1% fragmented

I can understand your concern. Please be informed that the system disk defrag will generally take longer time to complete the process. It depends on the data in the system. I suggest you to open AVG PC TuneUp->Settings->1 click maintainence->Change the defrag settings to "Fast defrag". This will complete the disk defrag much faster.
