I understand that you are unable to access this particular program and AVG detects it as harmful. If you feel, this is a genuine program, you can add this program to AVG exception list and that should fix the issue. Please open the AVG AntiVirus free->Menu->Settings->General->Exception, from here you can add the program to AVG exception list.
I RECENTLY, ON 6/12, UPDATED TO AVG FREE 17.4.3014. I JUST TRIED TO RUN THE PROGRAM "ADVANCED SYSTEM OPTIMIZER 3" AND AVG, I ASSUME RESIDENT SHIELD, DENIED IT AND MOVED IT TO QUARANTINE. I HAVE USED THIS ASO3 PROGRAM OFTEN AND SUCCESSFULLY UNTIL THIS VERSION OF AVG. HOW DO I GET THIS PROGRAM BACK, AND HOW DO I RUN IT WITHOUT TURNING AVG OFF. I AM USING WINDOWS 7 ULTIMATE SP 1, 64 BIT.

Please open the AVG Antivirus free dashboard and click on "Menu–>Quarantine"
You can find the file that was moved to Quarantine and the option to the right as "Restore"
Please click on restore and it will be placed on the same path where it's been initially.
