Program won't start after it says it has woken up

If yes, then I request you to repair AVG PC TuneUp (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-repair-AVG) and reboot your computer once. After reboot, please check if your AVG program is working fine.

when I click on the program it says it has woken up but won't start. I tried to hit speed up then background and it just keeps running and won't open. Help Please
