I have installed AVG Internet Security on my PC. Suddenly the programmed scan stopped working. I set up the system to run a scan of the whole computer every specific day of the week at a specific time and run anyway as soon as the computer is turned on. When I realised that for two weeks the scan had not been performed I tried to change day and time settings, but no result was achieved. In the map of the “next planned scan” now always appear today’s date and present time, while before it appeared the date of the following selected day for scan.This happened after the download of two AVG software updates. I have the 2016 version but the above problem occurred also in the previous 2014 version. I installed Windows 10 in February 2016 and up to two weeks ago everything was fine.
I did not activated the Windows embedded anti-virus. As I am not an expert user I have never changed any set up.
