Protection Disabled Message keeps showing up

Hi!
I was wondering if anyone can help me.
For a few months now I've been having trouble with AVG Free Protection.
I keep getting a Red Protection disabled message on my AVG Computer Protection.
I click fix and it goes okay for another few days then its on my Computer again.
This was happening every couple of days so I came onto the community forum to look for help last month.
I ended completely uninstalling AVG and following the link I read which seemed to fix things until today.
When I clicked opened AVG the red Protection disabled message was there again.
I completely uninstalled AVG again today and reinstalled it.
I opened AVG and found the Red Protection message still there like the program had never been uninstalled.
I don't know what to do to get a permanent solution as nothing seems to work.
