Open AVG Internet Security, go to Menu, Settings and then troubleshooting. Click on "Restore factory settings", this will enable the "Hacker Protection" component.

Please restart your computer once and update me the status.

I've had this problem with the Firewall not able to turn on since renewing. Hacker attacks not protected. Restart PC protection will be automatically enabled. After restart says the same thing.
