For the second time on the last few months, I booted up my desktop computer and found that when AVG started up the user interface showed that AVG was disabled. There was a "Fix Now" button which when clicked causes the application to start working. The user interface indicates that AVG will begin working at the next PC re-start, but the PC was just restarted so the idea that a restart will fix it doesn't make much sense. This isn't a major issue - just an annoying one. Below is a snapshot of what the user interface displays when this issue occurs.
