Protection is disabled

Hello Avinash,
Sorry, but "Protecetion is disabled" and "Computer not protected" both appear again.
Any additional advice?
Thanks in advance,
Noam

Hi Balasubramanian,
As I mentioned before, I have grown accustomed to that problem.
The issue haven't been solved, and I gave up.
I'm not going to expose publically my system info.

Therefore, you can considered it as being solved.
Thanks
Noam

Hello Avinash,
Thanks alot for your detailed instructions.
There was a problem downloading the second file you've recommended, my Avg accont passward was rejected by that site. Instead of that removing tool I used IOBIT uninstaller tool which has the ability of clearing remained components.
After uninstalling and installing AVG again, it seems that AVG is acting properly and smoothly.
Hope that it will continue this way, so I'll begin enjoying it.
Thanks again,
With compliments
Noam
Noam.

Hello Karthikeyan,

A. Acess to that directory is denyed.
B. If I can click on the "Fix Now" button repeatedly every launch to make the all red warning words into green - the secured state of the minimal basic protection   - why does AVG FREE AV can't ?

Thanks in advance,
Noam

Hi Avinash,
Thanks for sharing your time trying to help me in that issue.
Meanwhile, I think I've grown accustomed to that problem…
All the best and Thanks
Noam

I'm a new user of AVG free av.
After installing Avg a few month ago, although both AVG icons look good, no sign of any problem,
some warning appeared on the first AVG window, indicated with a red letters that "Antivirus free not protected".Following to the next screen "protection is disabled", "Computer not protected".
Clicking on  the "fix now" button, wich sometimes doesn't work, and without any other choice I repeatedly click on it  until the  Green letters screen  eventually appear. This scenario constantly repeat every launching.
Restarting or repairing both don't solve the problem.
I'll appreciate  any advice to fix this issue .
Respectfully
Noam

Noam, I really appreciate your efforts in trying to fix the issue. In this case, please follow the email instructions to send us a diagnostic information. This log files will help us to analyze the issue and assist further.

Do also attach the screenshot of AVG dashboard to escalate the case.

Noam,
The fix now button should work to fix the inactive components but in your case it is not. To analyze the cause, we need the logs from your computer. Please run the sysinfo tool again and send the output to us.

You are most welcome, Noam.
Please let us know whether the issue is fixed or not.

Hello Noam,

I can understand your concern. The "Email instructions" are about the steps to collect the error log from your email. This log files can be found from this location: C:\Sysinfo\Data. The diagnostic info contains information about the operating system and the security programs installed in your computer.

Noam,
Thank you for letting us know. We're glad we were able to put you at ease. If you need anything else, do not hesitate to let us know.
