Protection is disabled

We are glad to look into this for you.
This could be due to some error with the user interface files.
Please check if you have installed any third party conflicting AntiVirus applications on your PC and uninstall it.
Use our AVG clear tool to uninstall AVG Internet Security as mentioned here and install it again to verify the status.

For the last few days I have found that Protection is Disabled . The option to fix does nothing. The screen shoes a message that protection will be automatically enabled after PC restart. I restart and protection is enabled but the next time I switch my PC on I find that protection has been disabled again
What can the problem be ?
