My pc is starting up slow. I was trying to scan my computer, but can't get avg to open. clicking on the symbol in lower right corner brings up nothing (which is unusual 'cause it always worked before). Any ideas why?

Thanks so much Ranjani. This worked great…repaired my problem and then had 3 updates and was able to then scan my pc.
