Have the screen shot but cannot copy to the answer. Is it me or the recipe you provided.
Hi,
I Have purchased iMyMac to clean-up unnecessary log files etc. I could not download the file in it's entirety because AVG blocked the download saying it contained J-PUP virus.
Here is what was suggested by iMyMac support group.
Some antivirus software makes a mistake when applying for authorization issues.
As our software contains a junks removal feature, it may require higher permissions to delete files. But this is notarized by Apple and is considered reasonable. Once the authorization issue is involved, some antivirus software will simply treat it as malware.
We have many users, but this happens very rarely and we guarantee that our software can be used 100% safely. You can close antivirus software first then install PowerMyMac.
Should I do this ? If so, How should I proceed.
Thx
Dennis G.
