Purchased AVG in Spring 15 for XP system

Hi purchased AVG in the spring 2015, unfortunatly i was advised that my browser was out of date, could not get MSN emails, so purchased a Macbook, have asked AVG for advise if the software can be used on my new macbook after about 3 week they have not given me any response, gusee they are expecting me to purchase another software package.

Graham, Your original purchase was for Windows OS so it cannot be used on Mac OS. AVG for Mac OS is actually free (http://www.avg.com/ww-en/for-mac).
