Purchased AVG Protection and doesn't want to work

This issue might occur if you have not uninstalled the previous (expired) product before installing AVG Protection. I purchased avg protection and went to the retail page of the website as per instructions, I entered the code i got with the cd and was told to create a myaccount which i did, i downloaded the protection product and logged in, now it says that the licence has expired. I went to my account again and downloaded the avg zen file today, now it says that i'm using a trial version. What can i do to get my ful years protection back?
