Putting AVG on my laptop

Hi, I have the three-year internet security plan for unlimited devices, can anyone please explain how I put this on my laptop, it already has the 'free option'.

Hello Steve,

If you have installed AVG Antivirus free on your computer, please open AVG > My AVG > My Subscription > Click Logout/ Remove license (If you have that option) > Select Login and Enter your Myaccount credentials > click OK to activate the program.
