Quarantine is a safe place in AVG Internet Security and AVG AntiVirus FREE for storing potentially harmful files and completely isolating them from the rest of your operating system. Files inside Quarantine cannot be accessed or run by any outside processes, software applications, or viruses.
When you uninstall AVG, the files in quarantine are also removed from your PC.
Sensitive Data Shield scans and protects documents that may contain your personal data. If malware or hackers attack your PC and gain access to these documents, your identity can be stolen and misused.
After scanning, Sensitive Data Shield displays an overview of sensitive documents that were found on your PC. Documents are sorted into several categories, such as:
Tax documents
Payroll documents
Employment documents
Plane tickets
Travel documents
Other sensitive documents
It is generally not recommended to use more than one security solution on a single system. They will compete for resources, which may result in slowdowns, crashes or in no protection at all.

Dear community,
what happens to objects that are put into quarantine. I had to deinstall the avg program in order to be able to fully install my norton program. (i had to change it for business reasons 
My norton program deep system scan didn t found any bad maleware or other, but there were two in quarantine in the avg program anti virus. Are they now gone? Still isolated? Deleted? Do I need to worry? How can i find out?
Also i want to know how the AVG knows that i have sensible Documents on my computer such as my CV and stuff. Das the AVG program activly tries to scan my Computer to tell me iam insecure? And could that action be seen as a threat of other firewalls and the actions by the AVG Program are than blocked? (Yes, i had to virus programs on my computer…
I would love to get an professionel answer. Please help me, i feel so bad.
