Hi,

I am running AVG free edition and it has quarantined an exe file from a Cruzer Glide usb drive which is very important to me as it was the encryption software so now I am unable to access any of these encrypted files.   When I try going to virus vault and click on restore it does nothing.  This IS supposed to be the solution!!!  This is very costly. PLEASE GET IT BACK!!

Thank you for your assistance.  I did as you suggested and was able to
restore to cruzer but when I tried to access program it zapped it
again.  So copied path and put in box marked exceptions but  zapped it
again.  Turned off components in AVG and was able to open my files at
last but is that what I will have to do every time I want to look at
these files?

Thank you for the information. We need to add the encryption software completely to the AVG exception list, so it will not be detected as threat. From the AVG exception option, please browse for the complete software and add it to exception and check if that fix the issue. If you face any problem, please send us the screenshot of the detected file, so that we can check the same and assist you further.
