I had AVG free, Windows 10, it wasn't detecting malware I suspected I had. I tried Web tuneup and it quarantined the malware but used up all my monthly data (only get 10.3 GB/month). I didn't realize it was installed on my PC, so I tried to uninstall it but it wasn't letting me fully uninstall it. I tried uninstalling all AVG, figuring I'd reinstall AVG free basic when done. It got stuck at 78%. Right now am not positive it's okay but it appears I have AVG and AVG Protection, it appears to be the basic free.
When I checked the quarantine it doesn't show anything now. What happened to the malware that was previously quarantined? Did it get deleted when I tried to uninstall AVG Web tuneup? Or is it back on my computer again?
