Avinash,
Sorry for the delay getting back to you. Things have been crazy this week.
If the JPEG screen shot I've attached (below) is an unacceptable form of providing you with a response to your request, I can sigh type any needed info, but I have visual problems and fine motor tremors that are prone to resulting in typos. I appreciate any help or insight, friend.
Charles
Hello Charles. Thank you for the information and I appreciate the screenshot. Quick tune component does not relate to AVG PC Tuneup. It is like AVG 1-click maintenance of your AVG PC Tuneup. Since you are using a paid version of AVG Internet security, I would request you to uninstall it once and re install a fresh copy.
I would request you to run AVG remover tool based on your OS (32-bit or 64-bit) to completely remove AVG and then re install. To determine whether your OS is a 32-bit or 64-bit, please click on this link. http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/827218
To download the remover tool, please click in this link: http://www.avg.com/utilities
I am sorry again for the inconvenience caused. Please feel free to contact us back if any further assistance required.
Hello Charles. Sorry to hear that. Could you please let me know which version of AVG Internet security is installed on your computer?
I am a registered Paid Subscriber to both AVG Internet Security and AVGPC TuneUp. So why is it that whenever my AVG "protection" starts up, I seem to always get the status alert box in the lower left corner of my screen that shows me the wtatus of each AVG component (COMPUTER; WEB; IDENTITY; EMAIL; FIREWALL) plus a line that says, "Quick Tune: ANALYSIS REQUIRED"? Everything I've read online, so far, seems to indicate that "Quick Tune" is a function of the "Free Ver$ion of AVG" which reports "ïssues", then offers to "correct them" if the "user" purchases and installs AVGPC TuneUp (which as I've stated, I've already done. While the message/alert is a nuisence, it also makes me wonder if the clean bill of health I get from running the AVGPC TuneUp optimization is missing something rhat the startup program is picking up on.
Does anything ring a bell?
