you must be confused as I am not talking about AVG PC Tune Up. AVG Quick Tune is as it says a not the full Tune Up process it is a component in the AVG Internet Securty package I pay for. After you have used Quick Tune you always receive a message saying "why not try AVG PC Tune Up full version", so we are talking about 2 differnet components. The problem I have is with Quick Tune. After reading the link I presume my best option is to leave the scan to run for about an hour which I will do next time. I do not wish to purchase the full version simply use the component that comes with my security licence

Sorry, do you mean that the AVG PC tuneup 1-click maintenance isn't working after upgrading to Windows 10?
I loaded Windows 10 to replace Windows 7 Home Premium a week ago. I regularly ran Quick Tune in Windows 7 with no problem. Since loading Windows 10 Quick Tune has only run completely once and that after an hour, it usually takes 5 minutes. Quick Tune stops at 23% of Registry Errors checked and despite leaving it running for 10 minutes it goes no further. Has anyone had the same problem and found a solution? I don't want to go back to Windows 7.

the Quick Tune facility is the free version which is loaded on my AVG Internet Security on the "Fix Performance" button,not the full edition. It has worked only once in Windows 10 then after taking an hour. It simply starts up and then stops after 23% of the registry has been checked. I never had this problem in Windows 7. When I close it down it has found some Registry errors which I then fix.

Sorry, if you have the AVG antivirus or AVG internet security program installed you will be having an option on its dashboard as "FIX PERFORMANCE". When you click on this, it will open the AVG PC analyzer window which will scan your PC for errors and to fix those errors you have to purchase the license for AVG PC tuneup. The reason for having Fix performance on antivirus dashboard is to create awareness for customers regarding our AVG PC tuneup program.
