I'm sorry to hear about this, In this case I request you change some AVG Firewall settings. Please open AVG > click internet Security > menu > settings > firewall customize settings > click on system rules > enable all the system rules (if it's not configured). After that, please go to Firewall customize settings again > click on network types > change all the network types to Private. After that, please check if you can access data files.

we have 2017 reckon/quickbooks premier and having same problem as others. firewall is blocking access to the data file. works fine when we switch firewall of. how do we resolve this?
