Veronica, To check if AVG is the culprit try disabling & see if Quicken loads. Have a look @ this article (http://avgclick.me/TempDisableAVG).

Anyone having problems loading Quicken? I have been using 2009 version for home with no problems, balanced checkbook perfectly a month a go. All of a sudden, it doesn't load. I have tried a number of recommended troubleshooting tactics, but am now seeing feedback that it is related to AVG (which was recently updated on my computer (maybe 2 months ago). I am reluctant to upgrade the 2015 version of Quicken, because I see from their sight, many, MANY problems with it stop loading … also, community responses to those discussions, is it may be related to AVG somehow.
