Hello Lee,
We'll certainly help you with this.
The AVG TuneUp might not have recognized the uninstallation of Raidcall_EN.
We suggest you to uninstall the AVG TuneUp and reinstall it, then check if the issue persists.

Hey people. None of the suggested sections seemed to fit with this issue, so I thought I would put it in general. I'm a long time Tuneup user and very familiar with the program, I've been using it since before AVG bought it and it was just called Tuneup Utilities.
Anyway, I noticed recently that the program Raidcall_EN is showing in the Startup and Background section of Tuneup, I can sleep it and wake it, issue is that I removed this thing from my system ages ago and there is not one Raidcall folder or file on my system anymore. I used it once or twice years back and then never used it again. I can't remember, but I may have just deleted the files without uninstalling it properly, however the other day I did re-install it using an exe I found online and then uninstalled it again using Tuneup uninstaller to see if it would clear up any leftover files, but it is still there. This process worked for Winamp though, I uninstalled it and then had winamp agent sitting in Tuneup able to be slept and woken with no winamp attached to it, so I reinstalled it, changed the winamp agent settings in the program and then uninstalled it again and winamp agent finally disappeared from Tuneup. But with Raidcall it doesn't work. When I install it again the Raidcall_EN entry goes and a normal Raidcall entry appears, when I uninstall it the normal Raidcall entry disappears and the old Raidcall_EN entry comes back again so it's still sitting there with no way to get rid of it.
I can't contact Raidcall either because they no longer operate and their website links all redirect to dodgy sites elsewhere and they haven't been active on social media for several years now, so no idea what to do. Anyone else have this issue or even an issue where they had any other program sitting in Tuneup after being removed and then worked out how to get rid of it? Any help would be appreciated. I just want it gone.
Lee, Development of old AVG TuneUp has been discontinued a few years ago because of software updates, operating systems and other applications , as all the software environment evolves.
That is why the new version of AVG TuneUp that you can see now has been developed. The product is more stable and fully compatible with the latest operating system and programs.
Though you use the old version of AVG PC TuneUp, it will be migrated to new version as soon as possible.
We recommend you to uninstall AVG PC TuneUp and install the new version.
Thank you.
The new version still has bugs in it which is why I had to put the old one back again. I am aware of the new version being migrated and was given the correct time frame by the AVG specialist. I personally don't see it as more stable when some functions would not work properly such as choosing what to delete in automatic maintenance (options continually did not load and on/off button would get stuck in 'on' position) or disc doctor having to be run up to 5 times in order to fix a disc instead of just the one time (and probably finding errors which are not really there), but the rep told me those bugs were known about and would be ironed-out in due course. Thankyou anyway. I also don't like that the new version has lost most of it's functions and is more or less just one-click maintenence and disc doctor now. But that's just my personal view as a user of the software for over 10 years who has seen and experienced how it has evolved from the start.
I posted here not because I need help from AVG because I have already spoken with the specialist at AVG several times now via email and there is no further help AVG can offer me for this problem.
The reason I posted on the forum here was because there may be a chance that another user of the software had a similar sutuation and can tell me what they did to remove the offending entry. It is a last-ditch attempt to find a solution. But there is nothing AVG can help me with, thankyou anyway.
Lee, I checked your email conversation that you had with our product specialist.
I request you to share your feedback on how to improve our new version of AVG TuneUp through the same email.
They will be able to take necessary action and fix the bugs that you refer.
Thank you.

Hi Midhun, This isn't necessary as I have already gone through a similar step and the problem presists. Originally I was seeing this on my Tuneup so I contacted AVG support using live chat support who did a remote assist and while doing this they uninstalled my Tuneup and installed the new version. After they did this the entry for Raidcall did in fact disappear which was great, however there were bugs in the software causing other errors and I was advised to put the older version back, this time it was done with a totally clean install, I was guided through using all the AVG remove and clean tools prior to installing the old version again. Once I installed the older version the entry has re-appeared and persists. So reinstalling will not help me I'm afraid.
