Thanks …how soon should I expect another reply?
I also run a Thrird Party VPN software which is a paid for registered product …if thats any help…you should see this in the Firewall logs as it blocks ICMP connections…and there's lot of that activity. Also, worth noting that I constantly see an "Unidentified Network' in Profiles that I seem to have to change from Public to Private manually everyday.
Wondering why when I plug my mobile phone (via USB post) into my PC which has the full AVG Internet Security installed and running that this causes the "Ransomware Protection" component to turn off and also results in all networks lost or disconnected. Any ideas?.
Yes, very rare problem. Will check email Thank you.
Thank you for understanding.
Once you provide us with log files, will start the analysis by forwarding to senior team.
Marcus,
Your case has been escalated to the developers. So we do not know the exact time frame when they will contact us.
Your patience is much appreciated.

Thank you for having alook at this…as stated in my email re. screenshot…this was not available at the time of the incident as the PC shut down after all internet connection was lost…before this PC shut down I saw that the Ransomeware Protection Component was turned off (red) …when PC restarted I had to switch the Ramsomware Prtection component on manually. However I did notice that around this time a Rule was created on 29/04 at 09:47 re,. Port Scan Detection …don't know if this was related or not.
