RDP with AVG VPN enabled

Please clarify whether you're able to access the RDP when the AVG Secure VPN is disabled.
If yes, please follow the below steps and check if it helps,
1) Open the AVG Secure VPN.
2) Click on the Menu > Settings.
3) Turn on the "Enable local device access when using VPN".
4) Get back to Settings>  Network security > uncheck the "Exclude private networks". On the left pane, click Experimental > change the VPN protocol to Mimic and check the status. 

Also, please make sure that the AVG Internet Security, Enhanced firewall is configured as below,

  • Open the AVG Internet Security > Click on the Web & Email tile > Enhanced Firewall options > Network profiles > make sure your Wireless network and a wireless printer are selected as a private connection "I trust this network".
  • Please follow the steps mentioned in this article to configure the system rules and enable all the permission in a private connection.
  • Once it done, get back to the home screen and go to ☰ Menu ▸ Settings.
    Select Full protection ▸ Remote Access Shield in the left panel.
    Tick the box next to Block all connections except the following.
    Under Block all connections except the following, click Add.
    Enter a trusted IP address or IP range, then click Allow. Added connections appear below the Add button.

How to RDP between computers with AVG VPN enabled on both Windows 10 Computers
Both computers are wired (1GbE) on same local network
