I was about to check again on the AVG secure browser settings and noted there was an update available, I allowed the update and there is at this time no predictive text occuring.
With luck the update has rectified the issue.
I will know in a day or two if this is so, and will update you with the results.

Yes, we do have the auto auggestions option.
Please follow the below steps for enabling the option:
Step 1: Launch AVG Secure Browser if it is not already open.
Step 2: Click the AVG Secure Browser menu icon in the upper right corner of the screen. The icon is a picture of three horizontal bars.
Step 3: Select "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
Step 4: Click "Show Advanced Settings" at the bottom of the screen.
Step 5: Click the box next to "Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar" in the Privacy section to remove the check mark from the box. Your new settings are automatically saved.

I have another question, if I may?
Is it possible to prevent AVG secure browser predictive text whilst typing in the search box, I often have to retype two or three times as the search text changes during typing ?
It does not occur on google or Yahoo.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my query.
However, 'Step 4' there is only 'Advanced', at the bottom of the screen, I do not appear to have the box indicated in 'Step 5' either in normal or advanced settings.
Any other Ideas would be welcome.

AVG secure browser is up to date
V89.1.8900.92 (officialbuild) (64 Bit)
I have also noticed that I was unable to paste or attach the image of the 'About AVG browser' here.
If I choose either the Link or Image tab above I am unable to proceed further unless I close the browser down and restart.
