In order to analyze it please provide us with http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_SysInfo.exe output (run it after inducing described behavior) using this tool and please add detailed description of issue.

After re installing the AVG AntiVirus 2013 I get the message in the
Computer protection and Web protection screens …
AN ERROR OCCURED WHEN SAVING THE CONFIGURATION
ACCESS IS DENIED

I cannot do an update… I cannot use the product any more…
