We would request you to run AVG remover tool to completely remove AVG and then re install it.
Please click this link http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe to download and "Run" the AVG Remover tool.
1. Please select the AVG products which are shown in the remover tool window and then start removal process.
2. After the remover tool process is successfully finished, restart your computer.
3. After the restart, manually delete the AVG Remover folder in the C drive of My computer.

I failed to install windows 10 on my Packard Bell windows 7 computer which resulted in me contacting microsofts on line chat. They took charge of my computer and installed windows 10 sucessfully but had to uninstall my AVG Anti Virus security and AVG PC tuneup. I have sucessfully reinstalled PC Tuneup but the Anti Virus fails with a code of OXC0070643. I have tried stopping the Windows 10 Defender but it has stilled failed. Has anybody had the same problem?
Margaret, Just for your info with Win 10 Windows Defender was re-classified as an AntiVirus prog which can conflict with AVG so it's disabled during the installation process.
