Re-installing AVG VPN

Santosh,

Been there done that and I still set the same message. Do you have any other suggestions? 
Otherwise please advise how I get a refund for a product I connet use?

I have a valid 2 year subscription to the AVG VPN, its  started asking for me to sign up for another subscription and I could not find a way to re enter the serial number. So I decided to re-install. On installing I received a message telling me to un install the previous installation, which I did using Clean My Mac
I am trying to reinstall the programme which tells me the previous installation has not been uninstalled. 
Please help

From your description, we could see that you have some old traces of the program left in your computer.

Let us clear the old traces and install the new version in your Mac.

We have to manually delete the old traces of the program /Library/Application Support/AvgSecureVpn.

Once you uninstalled the program, you can perform the fresh installation
