I refer to Case number: 04920885. My subscription only expires in March 2018 but I can no longer use AVG SafeSurf for almost a month now!
I have raised a call ticket and all I get is "Your case has been escalated and somebody will contact you via email with a solution".
I has been about 3 weeks now and still SILENCE!!!!!
Is this a scam from AVG? I would have expected better from such a renowned Company!

I have even tried resetting my password by clicking "Forgot Password" but still not successful.

I apologize for the inconvenience. Please be informed that we discontinued AVG SafeSurf service and in order to compensate this we offer one free year for HMA! service which is also the VPN service.
This should cover all remaining time our users had with AVG SafeSurf and maybe even add several months over that period.
Also, please note that this service can be used on all operating systems, unlike the AVG SafeSurf.
You can activate HMA! account by following instructions from the email you received. Do get back to us if you have faced any issues in receiving the HMA activation email.
