Hello Diana,
I understand that you want to activate AVG Internet Security using a new license number. I request you to open AVG Internet Security > My AVG > My Subscription > look for the expiry date. If it's not 1/9/2019, then you can click "Enter license number" button to enter your new license number. If you see your email address, then you can click on logout at first. After that you will be able to see Enter license number option. If the issue still persists, then share a screenshot of the error message to assist you further. You can post the screenshot here on your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
Best regards,
Alok.
Hi,
The 31st Dec I received an email confirming my purchase of the latest AVG protection.
I didn't realise I had to anything.
Yesterday I received an email informing me that I had to copy & paste my new licence key to reactivate my AVG protection.
The problem is that when I click the AVG icon it immediately seems to load then comes up with a message saying that the product is already installed and then an error code appears.
"The action has been cancelled
You have already installed the latest version'(error code: 0xe001f992)
Please let me know how to rectify the problem so that I can be sure I am protected.
Kind Regards
