Hello Clint,
I am sorry to hear that you are unable to activate AVG Internet Security in your PC. I noticed that you are using AVG Internet Security 2017 version in your PC so please follow below steps to activate it:
Open AVG->Internet Security->Menu->About->Select 'Subscriptions' tab in right top corner->Click on “Enter license” ->Fill the license number and click “ ENTER LICENSE”->Update will start automatically. Then AVG Internet Security will get activated in your PC.

So, we renewed our license, and received an email prompting us to reactivate it - in three easy steps.  The first step is to open AVG, then click on support in the top menu.  We couldn't get past that though as there was no "support" in the top menu - could not therefore move forward with the final reactivation step. Wondering if there is a different "AVG" I should be opening other than the one that comes up when I click on the windows icon in the lower left corner???
