Open AVG Internet Security -> Click on Menu in the top right corner -> Settings -> Full protection -> Firewall -> Network Profiles -> Change the network profiles from Public to Private.

Microsoft help suggested that my anti virus may be causing a document that I received in an email and wanted to print keeps coming up as read only.  I emailed it to someone else and they were able to open it and print it out.  This is a new problem because I was always able to open and print this same letter every week.  What can I do.

This is in response to your other query regarding the same issue.

Please note that you can find the "List of network profiles" below 'System Rules' and 'Packet Rules' in AVG Firewall settings. From the list of networks, select the network that you are currently connected to and change it to Private.

If the issue persists, we need to verify whether AVG firewall is causing this or not. Click this link for steps to disable AVG firewall component temporarily and verify the issue.
