May I know since when are you experiencing this issue? Did you disable AVG protection and check if the issue is resolved?
My documents will only open in read only, when I try and save as new that too will only open in read only.
Another thread said it was to to with Ransomware but the solution was for the subscription version not the basic/free version.
Can anyone help???
