Hello Peter. I request you to add the IP address of your router to the whitelist of AVG and check if you are able to resolve the issue. Thank you.
Running Windows 7 64bit home premium, Netgear AC1900 R7000 router with WD Elements 3 TB usb drive attached.
Could previously locate hard drive in Windows Explorer Navigation Pane under Network, Readyshare, USB Storage, and stream music, videos, photos. No more.
Yet my android tablet and my blu-ray player can both access this hard drive and stream from it flawlessly.
I have found numerous posts in various forums of people with the same problem, no solutions - or rather, plenty of suggested solutions none of which work.
Yes, have rebooted, and powered down and up, the router and hard drive many times, router firmware is up to date.
Have tried various \Readyshare.blah blah blah type-ins, into the Start Button run box, and the address bar in Windows explorer. No luck. Get a "Network Error" message box, saying "Check spelling… otherwise there may be a network problem"
All other aspects of the router work fine. This used to work.
