Pieter, Did you resolve your issue with AVG?.

A few days ago I installed avg antivirus… Though In the firewall options of my MacBook I automatically allowed the AVG antivirus app to the incoming connections the program (on the console Real-time protection in orange warning!) keeps asking to allow extensions. What am I doing wrong?

Hello Alan,
In the meantime, while waiting for an answer to my problem, I removed and reinstalled AVG antivirus. After that the problem seems to be solved, because now I am able to switch on or switch off the realtime protection. I guess I better keep this function switched on.
Thanks for your help anyway!
Pieter
