Tried your suggestion - did not fix the problem. Realtime protectio still doesn,t run.

After updating to macOS Sierra 10.12, realtime protection has stopped. Anyone have any clue as how to fix it? I have rebooted several times and uninstalled and reinstalled as per instruction.
