Hello Karen,
Please accept our genuine apology for all the issues you had with AVG update.
It could be possible that AVG updates may fail to install completely sometimes and ask for a computer restart to finish the installation.
In that case, you will have option to remove the temporary update files in AVG program and try to download the updates again.
Please follow the below instructions if you come across with the same issue.
Open AVG.
Click Options, and then click Advanced settings.
In the left menu Expand "Update .
Please click "Manage" and select " Delete temporary update files".
You can try update AVG again.
Thank you.
What a mess!! Had a message that AVG required a reboot for today's update. Put my Windows 10 into a loop that required profession assistance to resolve. Latest Windows update rolled back but then reinstalled…no issue but I'm not about to chance this with AVG again.
Any suggestions?
