Please let us know the operating system of your windows & the exact AVG program that you've removed to fix the issue.
If it is AVG Internet Security, please disable AVG protection temporarily to check. If it fixes the issue, please disable AVG components individually as mentioned in the above article to identify the component that is causing the issue & let us know.
After an update this morning my HP workstation will no longer allow the windows button or sticky notes
to load / show programmes. If I remove AVG everythings fine. Then reinstall AVG all good untill I restart.
