This is for Sarath who sent me an email with an unusable link to this page at 1831 on 16 May, where, despite being logged in, I was told to log in again! I couldn't get into my question.
Anyway. I don't have the name of the virus. Doesn't a copy go automatically to AVG? Other a/v programs send the miscreants to their databases for reference. I deleted the thing from Quarantine: then Windows stopped working. This was due to Installer not being able to proceed. One doesn't think such horrors occur and so I did not make a note of anything except the KB not being Installed. Now I've done a Reset and have to put all 3rd Party programs (including AVG) back in.
