Recent update to AVG has disabled my sound in Windows 8

Hello Gary. I am sorry to hear that. I kindly request you to reinstall the audiodrivers appropriate to your PC and check with the audio.

Tried the update drivers no luck. Windows End Point Audio Builder is running.
Windows Audio isn't.  When I try to start it  , it says end point is a duplicate

Latest Update has dis abled my sound.   Error code  0x800706cc  Displaying red X over sound icon in icin tray.     Everything was working until restart afterf update install.   "Windows could not start the windows audio service.
