Hello Robert,
AVG Data Safe is a tool available in AVG that allows you to create a secure, encrypted and password-protected storage on your computer. The Data Safe always requires password to be opened. Without the password, it is not possible to access the contents of the Data Safe, and it cannot be retrieved in any way if you forget it. Unless you have a backup of the data stores in the safe, it is not possible to recover it. Appreciate your understanding. Thank you.
