Recovering AVG shredded files

Hi Everyone,
I accidentally managed to shred a lot of photos using the built in AVG shredder, this was set to single pass only.
Can my photos be recovered to view once again?.

Thank you for contacting AVG Community Forum. I see you have shred your photos using AVG shredder and lost it. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, this option irreversibly erases individual files or entire folders from your hard drive. Once data is shredded, there is no way to recover it. We are sorry for the trouble caused.
