Hello Ran,

Could you share the screenshot of the threat detection window by clicking on "see details" from it?
You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
May I ask whether you get the threat detection popup whenever Mac is started or only when you access sites through Safari browser?
If it is happening while accessing sites through Safari browser then please check whether it happens with other browsers installed on your Mac.
Keep us informed about the status.

Hello,
I've been having this issue with a threat that keeps popping up.
Every time, AVG says the threat has been secured, but it keeps reappearing.
The website is called 'intripment.com' and when I try to have a look at it, I'm being blocked, saying it's a malicious website.

any help on how can I permanently remove this threat?
I'm using MacBook Pro running Mac OS Mojave.

Thank you for the information, Ran.

I request you to reset your browsers and check the status.

When you say reset you mean closing and re-opening? If so, I've done that several times already, as well as restarted the OS.
And when you say 'check the status', do you mean just having a look if it re-appears? If so, the answer is yes. If there's another action I need to do, please do let me know.

Thanks

I've done all these, including going into all tabs in safari and deleting every website that was registered or permitted to do anything.
It worked for a few minutes and then recurred again
