Is there a way I can reduce the priorities for AVG products? Even as I am typing this Driver Updater/Tuneup etc are using 100% of my CPU so my typing/internet access/etc stalls until they are finished. My NUC is a bit old now but I don't want to have to upgrade.
Hello Jeff.
We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Are AVG apps consuming high CPU all the time or for a few minutes after the PC is started? Could you share a screenshot of the task manager showing the CPU usage?
Thank you Avinash,
With further viewing of Task Manager I find that my problem is with both CPU and Disk usage. Particularly, the 100% disk usage lasts for about half an hour each time I turn my computer on. The 100% CPU usage goes for about 10 mins. All my apps are delayed/stalled while this is happening. I just have to turn on my computer an hour before I want to use it.
Attached are a number of screen shots.
Please let me know what I can do to defer, delay or de-prioritise the AVG software.
