Note-Yes, it actually works reaching out on Facebook was a wise choice but in process I cursed them every where on LinkedIn, facebook, Mail,X,etc but they only replied on Facebook I don’t know why?
Same. Trying to get a refund through my avg account but for a renewal subscription I didn’t know was renewing. The last step is ‘we would love to chat before you go’, problem is no one ever turns up the chat. The number that aka appears alongside the chat option as an alternative is also a disconnected number so that’s not particularly helpful either. I’ve resorted to opening a dispute with my card company.
Contact the AVG business page on Facebook through Facebook messenger. I got my refund processed a few minutes ago since they actually answer you there, I’m going around the community posts to tell people since I was having the hardest time getting them to reply to me
I’m trying to get a refund of $99.99 and just spent the last three hours with no success. So Facebook? I just went to avg page and messaged them. no response. what next? Gent digital (owner) won’t help and said to go to Avast, but they are the same, unresponsive
If you’ve paid them through PayPal, you can file a dispute through them. If it’s a credit card unfortunately Facebook messenger seems to be the best bet. Not Facebook itself, don’t post anything in their page, but Facebook messenger
Update, after waiting on the facebook messenger for hours, I was able to get my refund. Also, I did file a complaint through PayPal as well. It’s all resolved now, but the problem is that I had to use my entire day to get this resolved. Not ok. Thanks for the advice to go to fb messenger, that was the trick that worked.
