Hello Marion,
I certainly understand your concern and I also see that you have posted the same query on our Facebook support page. The re-image popups are well known and it is caused due to the malware programs that gets installed on your computer when you try to install other trusted programs. Our AVG programs are capable of detecting and removing the malware and adware programs but however there are numerous malware programs emerging day by day and we are working 24/7 to add those definitions to update it on our virus definitions database. I see that you have mentioned in your Facebook post that you have subscribed our AVG product and after the complete scan it said that there are no threats found but you still have this popups issue.
I thought that my AVG protection would stop, or get rid of, the reimage pop ups that are such a nuisance. I have considered downloading some anti spyware software specifically for that purpose so my questions are
1. Is there an AVG product that is an extra to my basic AVG (not the free version) that will stop this invasion
2. Failing that, would another malware product conflict with AVG
I don't know what best to do as I know these pop ups are a risk. Help please!!
