Hello Marc,

I apologize for the inconvenience. This error code occurs because the online installer link having some issues with the installation. I would request you remove the traces using AVG Clear tool and use the below offline installer to install AVG Free.

For 64 bit: http://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/Antivirus_Free_x64_1818.exe
For 32 bit: http://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/Antivirus_Free_x86_1819.exe

If you face any difficulties, please provide the screenshot [http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot] of the error message to proceed further.

Resolved, did get first installation failed and restarted and did again and worked!

0xE0010601: General error (0x0601) is the message I get when reinstalling AVG, I did already remove and clean process. What can I do to reinstall and not get this message?
