Win-7, free edition, AVG was running fine then it wanted to "upgrade" which was done 3 times and it kept insiting till the systrm crashed. removed snd clead regestry and tried to reinstall. get error Error

code: 0xC0070643
Description: Event exec_finished and the installer quits.

So what now?
Win-7 64 Professional
The AVG software requested to upgrade and after three times upgrading the same very same upgrade the AVG system completely crashed. Attempting to reinstall resulted in the error:

code: 0xC0070643
Description: Event exec_finished and the installer quits.

AVG suggested using the AVG remover utility to clean the system, This was accomplished and it also removed my utility "Tune Up" program of which I am a registered user.

I performed the removal procedure and rebooted the system. I then followed AVG’s instructions and the system ran to 92% and crashed again with the error again being:

Error code: 0xC0070643
Description: Event exec_finished
So now the AVG software has left me unable to reinstall the anti virus protection and has deleted my “Tune Up” utility program which AVG has private labeled at this point. After many years as a licensed user of the program I am pleased to see that AVG also recognized the validity of this software utility but AVG seems now to have left me without either/both.  So what does one do now?
